HiQ is very proud of the puppies that we produce. A great deal of care has been taken in the selection of the parents. The puppies are raised in the house with kids and every puppy is handled everyday from birth. The puppies receive a lot of attention as well as excellent health care.
Before it enters its new home each puppy has had a thorough veterinary exam, fecal test, first set of vaccinations, and has been microchipped and dewormed. Each puppy also goes home with 6 weeks of health insurance and a written health and temperament guarantee. We will send you home with information on care and training and a with a small supply of puppy food. We are always just a phone call or a mouse click away for more advice or if you have any problems once you take your puppy home.
It is important that prospective Border Collie owners know what to expect. Please make sure you have read the Frequently Asked Questions on our site and have thoroughly and realistically reviewed your lifestyle and expectations for a new puppy and adult dog. Border Collies are fantastic dogs, but they are not the dog for everyone. Remember that Border Collies are generally long-lived dogs that stay mentally alert and active to a ripe old age (14 to 16 years). Be sure that you have looked into the future and that a Border collie will still be as welcome in 10 years as he is now.
